There are a million (okay, thousands) of sites out there that link to “inspiring” this-or-that, all of which have one thing in common: they are inspiring communally. Initially, these sites inspired one person, they got the idea to post the link in a collection or as a single example of inspiration, and the sites got a few hundred hits as a result. This is, for lack of a better word, “Neat.”
So neat, in fact, that the concept has inspired me. I don’t want to glom onto the concept, adding to the thousands of repeated links seen on every design/development/photography/social network out there, though, so I thought I’d post some things that inspire me that you likely won’t see everywhere. The picture below, “Lellow” is one example. On the night of the “supermoon” (or as I prefer, “moon.” No cape, no super.) This was the best shot I could get. It is not, as you may have guessed, the moon. It looked better than the crappy view of the “amazing event” that I had, however, so I got a shot of it.
So now you know: I am inspired by a yellow lightbulb. Take that.
